Dona Paula is famous as both the Rivers Mandovi & Zuari meet and then they confluence with Arabian Sea. At Dona Paula there is a whitewashed statue sculpted in 1969 by Baroness Yrse Von Leistner and this statue depicts the figures of the Mother India and Young India.
- Mandovi River
Mandovi River is one of the primary rivers while the other river is Zuari River. Mandovi River has a length of about 77 kilometers, 29 kilometers in the Karnataka State and 52 kilometers in Goa state. Panjim and the old Goa both are situated on the left bank of the Mandovi River.

- Basilica of Bom Jesus Church
Basilica of Bom Jesus Church is the part of the Churches and convents of Goa UNESCO World Heritage Site. It is one of the oldest churches in the Goa. The church is located in the Old Goa which was the capital of Goa in the early days of the Portuguese rules. This church is famous globally as people come from world to worship.
- Church of St. Francis of Assisi
Church of St. Francis of Assisi was built in the 17th century by the Portuguese. The main entrance of the church is decorated with the circular pilasters and with the rosette band.
